Nordik Kitchen is an up-and-coming Modern Nordic restaurant based here in South Wales. It is run by Shane and Lauren.
Shane has been a chef for nearly 12 years. He has worked for several award-winning restaurants including Harborne Kitchen, Heaney’s, and Dill Restaurant. He decided to take the plunge and focus on opening his first solo venture after years in the industry. Lauren is Shane's girlfriend and social media manager. She is responsible for taking photos of the delicious food and testing the recipes - sounds like a pretty good job if you ask us.
Nordik Kitchen is inspired by Shane's Swedish mother and the memories he has of visiting his grandparents in Malmö, trips to Copenhagen, and his year spent living & working in Iceland.

Reflecting on the lack of West African food offering in the Welsh capital, Hip-Hop musician Tumi Williams blended his experiences with music and food to create the ultimate Jollof Rice, which has quickly earned him local hero status.
But his jollof rice isn’t just any jollof rice, it has a twist: it’s VEGAN!
Starting off as meals for mates, Jollof House Party quickly evolved to a fully-fledged service and he has now made his way into the Neighbourhood Kitchen.
